Mountain to Valley Relay Race was founded in 2008 - Israel's first social race.

Founded by a group of friends from the community settlement Timarat in the Jezreel Valley. The vision of the race is the connection between long distance running and the love of nature and the environment. A combination between an individual runner and a group as a unit, adaptation to different levels of difficulty of the runners and exposure to the magnificent landscapes of the north of Israel.
